Meet Mr. Villarreal
7 Grade Counselor
I have been a part of this wonderful school district since
February of 2000. I have had the pleasure of working at Allison
Steele Enhanced Learning Center, and both Corbett/ Dobie
Jr. High Schools. I find it extremely rewarding to help
kids get through, what some consider to be, their toughest
social years.
Our counseling staff is great and we work together to help
kids overcome any challenge that may come up.
Problems such as :
School: Grades, scheduling, testing, tutoring, parent/teacher conferences,transition
Social: Teasing, conflict mediation, bullying, peer pressure,adjusting to a new school
Personal: Self-esteem, organization,bereavement, anger managment, stress
Referrals: Section 504, Special Education, Counseling Services, Social Worker
