Information about Wilder     Laura Ingalls Wilder Intermediate School is a 5th and 6th grade campus located northeast of San Antonio in Schertz, Texas.  To aid in the transition from elementary to secondary school, our students rotate through a cluster of 3 teachers for instruction (Math/Health, Language Arts/Reading, and Science/Social Studies).  In addition, all students take P.E. and a "Specials" class. For "Specials", students may choose to either take Band or Music/Art.            At Wilder, we prepare our students to be successful members of the community by stressing Character Education through the 6 pillars of "Character Counts".  We also teach students how to appropriately interact with one another through the Boys/GirlsTown Behavior Model.      Our Student Council stays busy throughout the year participating in service projects and helping with morning announcements.  At Wilder we have an outstanding choir program that all students may join, including those who are in Band.     We are proud of our school and welcome your inquiries about having your child join the Wilder family!!
