SENIORS!
Graduating seniors for the class of 2009 may come by the Steele HS front office to pick up their certificate between the hours of 8:00 AM & 4:00 PM, Monday--Thursday.
Summer School & TAKS Tutoring/Retesting | information packet | bus schedule
Information regarding summer school for 9th & 10th grade students wanting to recover credit in core courses and/or TAKS tutoring/retesting is now available. Summer school begins on June 16 and ends July 16. TAKS tutoring begins on June 16 and ends on July 13; testing runs July 14-17. A bus schedule is also available.

Important information regarding registration at Steele HS for the 2009-10 school year. Hours for Steele HS from June 15--July 30 will be Monday--Thursday, 8am--12pm; 1pm--4pm. The office will be closed on Thursday July 2. For additional information, please view the registration flyer or call 210/619-4000.
TG Application Deadline Extended | TG Application Instructions
Graduating seniors attending a school in the Alamo Community College District (ACCD) may qualify for the TG Scholarship. Complete the online application prior to the end of the school year.
Steele Pen Pals!
Moving to Steele this summer? Would you like a pen pal that currently attends Steele? If so e-mail Mrs. Mitchell at sbmitchell@scuc.txed.net and she will have a Steele student e-mail you back. Your new pen pal can tell you all about what to expect when you get here and you will already have a friend when you walk in the door on August 24th!

Summer assignments for pre-AP- & AP-level courses can be found here. All returning & incoming students are responsible for completing the required summer assignments prior to the start of the 2009-10 school year, August 24.
Sixth Annual Summer Theatre Camp | flyer | registration form
A drama camp will be offered to intermediate and junior high school students to give them an opportunity in which to participate and experience theatre. The camp runes June 15th– 25th, 2009. Refer to the flyer for additional information.

Steele HS will be hosting a series of UIL-approved summer camps for athletics for grades 9--12:
- "Knight Time" -- Strength & Conditioning (staff) | June 15--July 23
- Baseball (David Smith) | June 8--11 (9:00--12:00)
- Boys' Basketball (Brian Mitchell)| June 8--11 (1:00--4:00)
- Football (Mike Jinks)| July 27--30 (9:00--12:00)
- Volleyball (Cathy Glunt)| July 27--30 (9:00--12:00)
- Girls' Basketball (Kari Wallace)| July 27--30 (1:00--4:00)
Cost per camp is $40, with the exception of the "Knight Time" camp; it is $60. Refer to the information packet for additional details or contact the camp's director.
