BELINDA PUSTKA, Ph.D., SUPERINTENDENT
SCHERTZ-CIBOLO-UNIVERSAL CITY ISD
Belinda Pustka was raised in New Mexico and graduated from high school at Hobbs High School in 1973. She graduated from Texas Tech in 1976 with degrees in Speech Pathology/Audiology and Special Education. She earned her Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Houston in 1982, and her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1996.
Dr. Pustka taught school for 16 years prior to becoming an administrator. She served as a building principal and then a superintendent in the Shiner ISD. Prior to her moving to Schertz, Dr. Pustka was employed by the Killeen ISD as an Assistant Superintendent for Business Services. Dr. Pustka and her husband James moved to Schertz, Texas on July 1, 2002
