How do I apply?

Current employees interested in transferring positions/campuses must also complete the on-line application.

 

All applications for employment must be submitted on-line. Please gather all materials needed to complete the application in full. You will be given an opportunity to print a copy of your application at the end of the application process.

Applications expire after October 31st. Incomplete applications expire after 30 days.

On each page of the application, required fields are in red. You may leave/logout of the application at any time. Your application is not final until fully completed and submitted at the end of the application process. If you logout before your application is complete and want to finish it or you want to edit it at a later date, you may log back in later. Incomplete applications are not in the application pool. You will also be able to log back in and edit your completed application after it is submitted.

You will need to have the following items ready for reference:

  1. Social Security number
  2. Driver's License number
  3. Teaching Certificate, if applicable
  4. College Transcript, if applicable
  5. Dates and names of employers for work experience
  6. A minimum of three work references (including name and phone number)
  7. Resumé available to copy and paste. Your resumé must be copied from a text document. You will not be able to paste PDFs or graphics; you can type it in directly.

You will be asked to state a brief narrative which indicates a personal statement of intent and interest in Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD.

SCUCISD does not have pre-screening interviews. SCUCISD applicants are contacted by Principal/Director for their campus/department interviews.

DO NOT mail documents to Human Resource Office unless otherwise requested.

Because SCUC ISD is a public entity, your application is considered a public document and is subject to disclosure upon request.

Are the on-line applications secure?

 

Yes, both the applications - Professional and Paraprofessional - are secure. This is a secure site and all of your personal information will be safeguarded.

Which positions require an online application?

 

Use the online application if you are applying for any position. Use the information below to select the appropriate application for you.

Substitute Application: Substitute applications are paper-based and are not submitted on-line. Substitute applications are available for pickup starting the first week of each month (except for the months of March-July) on a first come first serve basis at the receptionist desk from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm at Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD Central Office.  You may contact the receptionist at (210) 945-6200 to check for availability.  SCUCISD welcomes your Substitute application.

What's Next?

After you have submitted the online application, your employment application will be made available to principals and/or hiring officials. They are responsible for the selection of personnel for positions within their area of authority and will contact applicants directly if they desire to schedule an interview. Not all applicants will be interviewed.
