Academic Booster Club

We will be electing officers and making decisions about fundraiser.
Please come and help us get started.
Over the past year we have seen an academic need we would like to address. While many students are taking AP level classes, many are not following up with the AP exams because the cost of those tests are not affordable. The same is true with SAT, ACT, and SAT II tests. If we become an International Baccalaureate Diploma school next year, students will also encounter the costs of the IB tests. We would like to be able to help offset the cost of these tests for students. In addition to this, we are looking for ways to boost the academic performance of ALL the students here at Samuel Clemens, including the possibility of having breakfast for ALL Clemens students on the days of the TAKS test. To help meet these cost, we are developing an Academic Booster Club; our goal is to work together to raise funds
for these purposes.
