I graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School in San Antonio in 1983. From there, I went to Southwest Texas State University, now called Texas State University. I received my Bachelors and Masters of Education with an endorsement in Gifted and Talented. I have been teaching fourth grade for 21 years in the SCUC ISD. (They won't let me out of 4th grade!) I spent 12 years at Wiederstein, where I did my student teaching, and nine years at Watts . I love what I do, especially the Texas History aspect of it. I look forward to watching each of my students walk across that stage to receive his/her diploma from high school. That is how I measure success!
