My name is Shana Simpson and I’m a part of the great 3rd grade team at Watts Elementary. I’m a latecomer to the public classroom but a long time educator. I graduated from Texas Tech University with an advertising/public relations degree and later a masters (MBA) in marketing. I’ve completed the Region 20 alternative teaching certification program and the internship at Watts. My husband, Richard is retired from the U.S. Air Force. We have lived in Lubbock, TX., Anchorage, AK, Colorado Springs, CO, Swansea, Il. (outside St. Louis) and now we are working on 9 years here in the SCUC-ISD communities. Our daughters all attended or are attending SCUC-ISD schools. Kendall is a sixth grader at Jordan. Kacie is junior at Steele and Kristin is now a
freshman at Baylor University. |
