Hello, I am Jamie York and this is my 2nd year at Watts. I am in my 4th year of teaching and am so pleased to be part of the Watts family. I absolutely love being the Focus Teacher at Watts! I have a degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Special Education and my Master’s Degree in Education from Texas State University. I have previously taught 1st grade as well as a self-contained class for students from kindergarten through 4th grade that needed more support due to emotional/behavioral concerns. My husband and I both grew up in San Marcos and love living in this area. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, enjoying the company of family and friends, camping, swimming, and eating out at restaurants. |
