Corbett J.H. Region Band Audition Results
On Saturday, November 8th Corbett J.H. participated in the TMEA Junior High School Region Band and Orchestra auditions at Driscoll Middle School. 37 students from Corbett competed against hundreds of other students from the surrounding area to earn spots in two region bands. Those placing high enough in the region band also earned a spot in one of two orchestras. The results are listed below:
District – These students earned a district patch but did not receive placement in the region bands.

Adriana Bonema – 7th grade Trumpet
William “Billy” Miele – 8th grade Trumpet
Mason Price – 8th grade Trumpet
Christian Von Buettner – 8th grade Trombone
Zachary Dickson – 8th grade Tuba
Region Band 1
Daniel Martinez – 8th grade Clarinet
Kamilah “Alex” Mitchell – 8th grade Percussion
Joseph McCloskey – 8th grade Trombone
Kacie Petrequin – 8th grade Clarinet (1st Chair)
Orchestra
Daniel Martinez, Kamilah “Alex” Mitchell, Joseph McCloskey and Kacie Petrequin all placed high enough to earn spots in the region orchestra as well as the top region band. This is the third year in a row that Corbett has a student make first chair clarinet.
