Clemens cross country athlete advances to regional competition Congratulations to the Clemens boy's and girl's cross country teams for their excellent effort at the district meet held Oct. 29th in Seguin. The girl's team placed 6th overall. They were led by Freshmen Ashley Crozier's who finished in 13th place. Ashley was only three places away from qualifying for regionals. The boy's team placed 4th and was a mere 21 points away from qualifying for regionals. Once again, Mark Kazmierczak led the way with a regional qualifying 8th place finish. Mark will be competing at 2 p.m. this Saturday (Nov. 7) at Brooks City Base for the right to go to State. Posted: November 6, 2009
