Gifted and Talented testing for students new to the district will be held on Oct. 1-3, 2008. Before Sept. 29, 2008, please return to me a nomination form and permission form. Students will miss several days of their classes, but testing will be held on the Dobie
campus during the instructional day. Please email me if you have any questions!
Gifted and Talented testing for any student (who did not test in the fall) will occur Feb. 11-13, 2009. Please return the nomination form and permission form between Jan. 20-Feb. 10, 2009.
Gifted and Talented Field Day will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2008. More details to come! Some GT students will be offered the chance to help volunteer for the Intermediate Field Day on Monday, October 20. We will need parent volunteers who have completed the SCUC ISD background check. If you're interested, please let me know so we can send you a form!
Dobie Enrichment Workshop (DEW-time) for identified GT students will be held on Tuesdays, beginning on Sept. 2, in room C 106 (downstairs near the elevator) from 3:20 until 4:00. Join us!
