WELCOME BACK For the 2008-2009 school year I will be teaching PALS, BCIS I and BCIS II Check out the links to the left for more information on each class. An important note for parents:  Progress report are mailed to parents every three weeks and report cards every nine weeks.  If you do not receive these documents, or for more information about them, please contact the school immediately.  Our goal is that parents will be kept informed about their child's progress through a variety of methods. Parents can also check their child's grades at any time during the school year by following a simple registration process through our Parent Connection-see link on top of page.  I will be updating your childs grades weekly.  Students and parents are encouraged to check grades regularly this way to monitor progress so that there will be not surprises on their report cards.  Your child will have access to the GradeSpeed system from any school computer.   Parents, please check out the Bridges link on the left under Helpful Sites. This is an excellent tool to help your student discover his/her strengths and interests as he/she plans for college and a career after graduation.

Emerging Technology Reports Each nine weeks the students will be required to obtain an article-either from the Internet, Newspapers, or Magazines- that relates to any new or emerging technology. More information can be found by clinking on the Emerging Technology link to the left.

Business Professionals of America Everyone is welcome to join Business Professionals of America. This a wonderful group and we have alot of fun. We attend conferences and have contests in all areas of business...from computers to public speaking, from interview skills to multimedia presentation. This is a great opportunity for students to gain valuable work skills. Students need to listen to the daily announcements for meeting dates and time. You can also contact Mrs. Dove for more information on this organization.
