Biography
Welcome to Second Grade. My name is Mrs. Whitacre, and I am in Room D104. I was born and raised in San Antonio. I graduated from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education. This is my twenty-eighth year to be involved in education. I am married to my wonderful husband, Frank, for thirty-three years. I have two sons, Michael and Jeffrey. Michael graduated from the Air Force Academy, is married, and is a C17 pilot in Seattle, Washington. Jeffrey graduated from Texas A&M University, is married, and he is an engineer in Fort Worth. I have two marvelous grandchildren. I am very excited to be working with you and your child this year. I look forward to a terrific year.
