Attention Prospective Art Students!!!
If you know in advance that you will be taking Art 1 or Art 2 in the 2008-2009 school year at Dobie, here is a list of items you may want to purchase. You can purchase these items in advance so that at the beginning of the school year you will not be scrambling for supplies, which often the stores run out of. I have been in contact with Hobby Lobby (Forum) and are trying to work to ensure they have these items stocked for you to purchase.
Suggested Supplies for advanced purchasing:
Colored Pencils (Mercur, Staedtler, Prisma Colors or Koh I Noor brands)
Graphite Pencil (4H or 6H)
Handheld Pencil sharpener (with shaving reservoir)
Oil Pastels (Mungyo or Gallery brands)
Soft Pastels (Mungyo, Gallery or Loew & Cornell brands)
Ruler (flexible plastic or rubber)
Watercolor Paper Pad (Strathmore 11X15 or Canson 11X15)
Also, refer to the regular supply list on the left toolbar for additional supplies that will be needed throughout the year.
