Homework: Homework is assigned daily to reinforce concepts and skills taught in class. Completion is required and assignments are checked at the beginning of class each day. All assignments must be completed in pencil and work must be shown. Assignments without work shown will not receive credit. The following late work procedures apply to students who do not complete homework on time.
Late Work:
A student who does not turn in an assignment on time will only have until the following day to submit the assignment. Papers submitted late will only earn up to a maximum grade of 70.
***To receive credit for work beyond two days late, students will be assigned to Saturday school.***
Students are expected to act responsibly by not abusing the late work policy. Turning in late work should be an exception not a habit. Teacher reserves the right to use professional discretion regarding acceptance of late work.
Tutoring is available before school from 7:50-8:07 and after school from 3:15-3:45. Students should make an appointment to ensure teacher availability. Pick up arrangements need to be documented to ensure student safety.
