| December 18: 6 weeks progress reports Progress reports are handed out and mailed. Many of you are failing LA right now for missing work. Please take responsibility for your grade and turn in work, while you can still get points.

| December 5 Written book reports are due in final draft form written or typed. Typed reports must be 12 or 14 font size, arial or times new roman style, and in black ink.

| November, December - LA Reading Response Logs are assigned for each novel we read in class. Students are responsible to complete these for every 2 chapters and hand them in before a test. There are 3 novel tests for our new novel the Giver. Books are inexpensive. If you want a copy, go to Borders or for free, check it out at our library.
