Please read everything under the English III heading to the left. Once you have read all of the forms, please sign the parent signature form (this was sent home with your child on the first day of school; you need only print a copy if you did not receive one) and return to me by Friday, August 29.

Tips for maintaining a passing average:
-Ask questions: If you don't feel comfortable asking in front of the
class, write down questions as you think of them and then ask me privately.
-Complete all assignments.
-Retake exams: You are allowed to retake 2 exams per 9 weeks.
The highest score you can receive on those retakes is a 70.
You must come in for tutoring prior to retaking an exam and you must retake it by the deadline I set.
-Schedule tutoring if you need additional help. Please schedule in advance.
-If you are ever absent, be sure to get missing work or notes.
-Save EVERYTHING (notes and handouts will be used and re-used, especially when it comes time to study for the final exam.)
-Don't allow absences and tardies to rob you of your credits or exam exemptions
