• Welcome to English II!

    Daily Supplies:

Writing Utensil - Pencil Preferred, Pen Acceptable

    Outside Reading Book

This is a daily work classroom - all assignments for the day are due at the end of the class period regardless of completion.

    Why?

    1) Eliminates the need for "catch-up" homework.

    2) Eliminates late and/or missing assignments.

    3) Eliminates the "I'll do it later" mentality and reduces wasted time, unmotivation, and distraction.

    4) Eliminates the stress of having to make up assignments due to illness and/or emergency.

All work is timed so that students have a reasonable expectation for completion.

Should time run out, students are graded on the work they have completed, not the work they missed - so long as they gave and show a genuine best effort.

Note: All IEP/504 Accommodations considered on classwork completed and turned in.

    TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

We are all called upon to serve a part of our world which challenges each of us to grow and evolve in knowledge and wisdom so that we can return to it what we struggled to become so that the world may also grow and evolve.
