• The following supplies are suggestions for AP students.  Students should get supplies they will use. i.e.: don't buy a flash drive unless you are a digital artist. If you work with pastels and HATE watercolors, then don’t buy watercolors.

*The supplies that aren’t optional are pencils, erasers, and a sketchbook.

Sketchbook (multi-media will give you more medium options, 50+ pages)

    Drawing/graphite pencil set

Erasers (white vinyl and kneaded are both great)

Flash drive if digital art student

    tablet for digital art students

Specialty sketchbooks like bristol board, charcoal or watercolor paper

    blending stumps

Charcoal pencils or sticks (black and white)

    Water-soluble pencils

    Watercolor set and/or watercolors pencils

    Acrylic Paint set

    rollerball pens

    markers (Copic, Prismacolor, etc.)

    Soft pastels

    Oil pastels

Color pencils (Prismacolors or Faber Castel polychromos are recommended)

I highly recommend purchasing a battery operated eraser.  I bought mine at hobby lobby for $9.99 in the section with drafting supplies.
