Art 1

Course Description
 Art students will be introduced to wide range of artistic contributions from around the world and to the principals of design. Students are provided with the opportunity to work in areas of design, including perspective concepts, drawing types and techniques, color studies, painting, ceramics and more. Art History and Appreciation are included when they apply to visual design. Emphasis is placed on general terms in each area of study and students are tested on those terms and understanding of their application within their own artwork.
