Coach Housby

Coach Housby is a Certified Athletic Trainer at Clemens High School. He received his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from West Virginia University and a Master of Science from Baylor University in Sport Management. He is a Licensed Athletic Trainer in the State of Texas, a Nationally Certified Athletic Trainer, and a High School Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Coach Housby is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, the Southwest Athletic Trainers' Association, the Alamo Area Athletic Trainers' Association, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He is a committee member for the Southwest Athletic Trainers' Association Secondary Schools Committee and has worked with many professional and amateur athletes during his career.

Coach Housby is passionate about strength and conditioning, nutrition, concussion management and rehabilitation, heat injuries, and joint manipulations. This is his 10th year as an educator and his 8th year at Clemens. His past experiences include college football, gymnastics, women's soccer, women's basketball, and men's and women's tennis. Outside of Sports Medicine, Coach Housby enjoys attending sporting events, golfing, camping, fishing, traveling, and experiencing new cultures.
