Dance

  • Dancers aren’t made of their technique, but of their passion. - Author Unknown

The High School Dance Departments in SCUC ISD encourage students to appreciate dance as an art form.  Initially, the dance curriculum focuses on basic dance techniques and skills in varying disciplines, including jazz, modern, ballet, and others.  In learning these techniques, students are challenged to obtain fundamentals of self-reliance, as well as cooperation and teamwork.  Students in these programs often succeed as positive role models and leaders in their community.

The SCUCISD Dance programs offer several options for participation
