Points of pride
- Communities in Schools works to address the academic, social, physical, and emotional needs of students through community partnerships.
- We Serve Too is a club for students of military families that meets twice a month to support and celebrate the needs of military children.
- Our CrossFit Kids program is the first fully recognized of its kind in the South Texas area and meets on a weekly basis to promote health and wellness.
- Watts started the first two elementary Lego Robotics teams in SCUC ISD and made it to the state competition level in their very first year of competition.
- Watts Student Council sponsors many events on campus and supports the community through service projects each year.
- 4th grade Choir and Orff Ensemble perform at various events throughout the area.
- Watts Meet in the Middle group bridges the gap between students with special needs and their peers through special events, activities, and partnerships on campus and around the district.
- Safety Patrol offers a chance for students to be representatives of safety and security on campus.
- Kids Helping Kids is a mentoring program for 4th grade students to serve as positive role models for younger students.
- Battle of the Books is teams of students in grades 3 and 4 who compete in a tournament to demonstrate their abilities and test their knowledge on a given set of books they have read.
- The Elementary Student 2 Student group (eS2S) welcomes incoming students to Watts Elementary to ease transitions and to create a positive environment.
