8th-12th Grade Summer School Credit Recovery

  • General Information/Eligibility

    • The summer school credit recovery program is only for current SCUCISD students in grades 8th-12th who failed one of the courses listed below with an overall grade average of less than “70”.  
    • Students can register for up to two (2) semester credits per summer school session.
    • The summer school credit recovery program is online; therefore, paper copies of instructional material are not available.

    • Program Cost: $100 per half credit, $50 per half credit for students who receive free/reduced lunch.

    Semester 2: June 24th-July 16th

    *NO SCHOOL Monday, June 29th-Thursday, July 2nd for July 4th holiday

    8th Grade Math Credit Recovery

    *At least 12 students must register for the course to be offered.


    Final Course Examinations

    Final exams will count for 25% of the course grade.

    Attendance and Absences

    Students must make progress on the online coursework and participate in daily virtual check-ins with their teacher to receive course credit.  Students who miss more than one daily check-in may be denied credit and dropped from the recovery course.
