This my 21st  year in education.  I am a graduate of Incarnate Word University and  a native San Antonian, growing up on the Westside. My maternal grandmother's family traces itself to the orginial Canary Islanders who settled in San Antonio. My paternal grandmother traces her family to the German immigrants who also settled in this area.   I have been at Steele High School since its first year.  I have been the Special Education Department Leader from the inaugural year.
