Campaign Finance Reports

Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD, as a local governmental unit, is the filing entity for campaign finance reports filed by trustees and candidates for trustees. As the filing entity, the district does not assess the accuracy or completeness of reports. Information for local filers regarding required forms and instructions is available online on the Texas Ethics Commission website.
Questions regarding campaign finance should be directed to the Texas Ethics Commission at (512) 463-5800. All other questions regarding election law should be directed to the Secretary of State at (512) 463-5650 or (800) 252-8683.
Per Election Code 254.04011, a Campaign Finance Report filed under Election Code Chapter 524 by a board member, a candidate for membership on the board, or a specific-purpose committee for supporting, opposing or assisting a candidate or board member must be posted on the Internet website of the district if the district is located wholly or partly in a municipality with a population of more than 500,000 and with a student enrollment of more than 15,000. This requirement applies to Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD, as it is located partially in a city with a population greater than 500,000 (San Antonio, Texas) and has more than 15,000 students.
