What is the Flu?
The flu (influenza) is an infection of the nose, throat, and lungs caused by the influenza virus. Symptoms include: fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills, fatigue and sometimes vomiting and diarrhea. Some people with the flu may not have a fever.

Reminder: It's not to late to vaccinate against THE FLU!
What are some everyday preventive actions that can help fight germs, like the flu?
- Cover your nose and mouth with tissue when you cough or sneeze.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water. If soap is not available, use an alcohol -based hand sanitizer.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. Germs spread that way
