Community Resources:  

San Antonio Food Bank:  The San Antonio Food Bank takes pride in fighting hunger, feeding hope in our 16 county service area. We believe that no child should go to bed hungry, adults should not have to choose between a hot meal and utilities, nor a senior sacrifice medical care for the sake of a meal.

Children's Bereavement Center of South Texas: Provides FREE support and counseling to assist in the healing process for grieiving children, families, and the community after loss of a loved one

Health Insurance Information:  In Texas, children without health insurance may be able to get health and medical services through CHIP (Children’s Health Insurance Program) or Children’s Medicaid. Both programs offer a wide range of services including regular checkups, dental care, eye exams, and glasses, too. Fill out an application to find out if your children can get services through either one of these programs.

Guadalupe Valley Family Violence Shelter:  Provides free and confidential services for survivors of domestic violence or assault
