Hello, my name is April Tuch.  I was born and raised in New Braunfels, in which I currently reside.  I graduated from New Braunfels High School and then attended Texas State University.  I received a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration with a Therapeutic Recreation emphasis.   I have always had a place in my heart for children with specials needs.  After I graduated I decided I wanted to teach.  I was a teacher’s assistant in the ALE/Lifeskills classroom for a year and then got my alternative certification to teach.  I taught 8 years in the Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities.  This will be my 8th year teaching ALE.  I am proud to be a part of the SCUCISD family and look forward to another wonderful year here at O.G. Wiederstein Elementary.
