    The Summary page is the first page displayed each time you login to your txConnect account.  The Summary page displays an alphabetical list of students that you have added to your account.  This page provides your student’s schedule, current average for each class, and attendance for the current date.  The district or the campus may also display a message to parents on this page.

     

    From the Summary page, you can click on Edit Student Settings and sign up to receive electronic report cards, interim progress reports (IPRs) and immunization due letters.  Please click here for more information on signing up for electronic report cards and IPRs. Only parents or legal guardians will be able to sign up for electronic report cards/IPRs.

     

    If the parent/legal guardian has signed up for electronic report cards and IPRs, an icon for the interim report card and progress reports available are displayed on the summary page.  Each time a new report card is available, the new version will update here and the parent/guardian will receive an email letting them know that a new report card, IPR or immunization due letter is available for them in their txConnect account.

     

    If you have registered your cell phone number to your account, information regarding the Parent Portal Mobile site is displayed and you can click “Send Link” to have the link to the mobile site sent to your phone or mobile device.  Click here if you have not registered your cell phone number and would like more information on registering your cell phone.

     

    The student’s schedule is displayed on the summary page.  The schedule includes the period, course title, instructor’s name, room number, current grade average for each class, and the attendance for the current date.  Any failing grades under Current Average are highlighted.

     

    The instructor’s contact information is displayed on the summary page.  If the instructor has provided an email address, his/her name is displayed in blue as a link to his/her email address.  If you click on the name, your computer or device’s default email opens.  If the instructor included a phone number, office hours, and/or other notes, a yellow note icon is displayed beside the instructor’s name.  Click on the icon to see the information.
