This is my sixth year here at Jordan Intermediate and I am very excited to be here! Let me tell you a little about myself.
I grew up with 2 military parents and have lived all over. I was born on a base in Bremerhaven, Germany. I have been to over 10 schools before I graduated high school and also spent time in South Korea. I truly believe growing up all over the place gives me a unique perspective on other cultures and how we can bring a big piece of the world into our class.
I have 2 children, Sawyer who is 4 and Josephine who is 2.
I have 3 siblings whom I am very proud of. I have a 20 year old brother, a 17 year old brother and a 14 year old sister.
I am so, so excited to be teaching math again this year and I am looking forward to all the fun we are going to have! I have wanted to be a teacher since I was about 5 ...(I also wanted to adopt all the lost babies but that is another story). Since then I have been all over and learned a lot, but I have always wanted to become a teacher.
I am overjoyed to be a part of the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District, but, even more, I am excited to be at Jordan working with a innovative and inspiring group of teachers on the Green Lantern Team and our amazing administrators.
