    2023 VOLLEYBALL TRYOUTS

    ~~ IF YOU HAVE NOT TURNED IN A PHYSICAL, PLEASE BRING IT THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. YOU MUST HAVE A PHYSICAL TO BE ABLE TO TRYOUT.

    2023 Volleyball Tryout Dates:         AUG. 16-18       7th grade (before school) 6:00-7:45am           8th grade (after school) 3:45-5:30pm

     

    All athletes MUST have the following to try out:
    -A Physical & Medical History form
    This may be handed to a coach on day 1 of tryouts or have already been sent to a coach prior to day 1. This is mandatory for tryouts. If you do not have one, you will NOT be allowed to try out.
    -Athletics clothes
    Proper gym clothes please. A gray or black shirt and black school-length shorts will work if you have not purchased Dobie Athletic clothes. NO Volleyball shorts/ tights allowed at practice!!!

    We will be handing already purchased gear out the first week we are back.

         Parking at Dobie???
          Parents, please park in one of the school's parking lots.  Cibolo Police will issue tickets if you are parked in the grass off of Borgfield road.

         Elgibility, what is it?
         If your child has an average in a class that is below 70, they become ineligible. Those failing a class at the end of the  first six weeks and every nine weeks thereafter  become ineligible and will not be able to play in games.  However, they can regain eligibility after three weeks as long as they are passing every class.

         If you have a question, please feel free to email your child's coach or call.  Please note that if your daughter is a 7th grader you will need to email one of the 7th grade coaches and if your daughter is an 8th grader you will need to contact an 8th grade coach.
