Welcome to my web page! I grew up in El Paso Tx and attended the Univeristiy of Texas at El Paso class of 2000. (UTEP, Go Miners!!!) I recieved my masters as an instructional specialist in bilingual education in 2008. I also moved to Schertz-Cibolo in 2008 and have been teaching here at Wilder for the past 11 years in the Dual Language program. In 2016 I became the bilingual dyslexia teacher.

    Welcome to dyslexia class!

    Dear parents, due to school closure we will continue our intervention through remote learning starting on Wednesday March 25.

    I would like all my students to continue working on their reading skills using Lexia/Core5 program 45 minutes a week (ex. 15 minutes 3x a week 10 minutes 5x a week). I will be monitoring their usage weekly. They can also log in to Learning Ally to read/listen to books. 

    I will be available via email/Zoom/Google voice Monday - Friday 9:00-10:00 and 2:00-3:00, please contact me if you have any questions. 

    I will be contacting you the week of March 23, 2020 to make sure you have access to Lexia/Core5 and for any other concerns.
