Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Kellie Johnson

I have been a teacher for 24 years all of which have been here with SCUC  ISD.  I have been here at Wilder Intermediate since the school was opened teaching 6th grade for 2 years and 17 years teaching 5th grade. After my children graduated from Clemens High School, I went to get my Master's Degree in Reading.  I am now a Reading Specialist and I  teach RtI Reading and Math for the last 5 years.

Dear Parents,

Due to the current school closure I am asking that all Reading RtI students use Lexia CORE5 and Math RtI students use Reflex Math.

Lexia CORE5 is a wonderful online system that helps to develop readign skills in the 6 core areas:  Phonological Awareness, Phonics, Structure Analysis, Fluency, Vocabulary, and Comprehension.  The requirement is to have your child work on CORE5 for 45 minutes each week.

Reflex Math is a excellent online system that helps to develop fact fluency.  Your student has been working with this system all school year.  The requirement is to have yoru child work on Reflex Math at least 2 times a week to get their "green light" or about 30 minutes.

I will be contacting parents soon to address how to access and log into these programs and to address any concerns or issues you might have in regards to CORE5 or Reflex Math.  An email will be coming soon to each parent with directions attached on how to download CORE5 on your devices or access Reflex Math.

I will be available via email M-F 9-10am. and 2-3pm.  My email is-- and my Google Voice number is 210-618-0003.  I am also available via ZOOM.  If you would like to set up a ZOOM conference, please contact me and we can set that up for a specific time.

I have Professional Learning Community meetings every Wednesday from 10:30-11:30.  This is a time set aside weekly for teachers to plan lessons for the week.  I will not be availble during these times, but I am happy to schedule another time for you.

Please email me and let me knwo how I can support you and your student during this time away from school.  Please be safe and healthy.
