Welcome to Wilder Attendance & Registration
Attendance Registrar: Natalie Keaney
Official Attendance is taken at 9:35AM
**Please send in an excuse note anytime your child is absent.
**Calling in a student absent does NOT excuse the absence--only a written parent note, a Wilder Attendance Form, an e-mail from a parent/care provider or note from a doctor will excuse the absence.
**If the student spends some part of the day in school and he/she is out for a medical/dental appointment, a note from the care provider is required to excuse the absence.

ABSENCES:
An absence is considered unexcused when a note is not provided within 3 days of returning from the absence.
3 unexcused absences will result in a Truancy Warning Letter from the Truancy Officer. Further unexcused absences will most likely result in court fines.
A doctor's note is required for any student that is signed out of school prior to 2:40. Early sign outs for any other reason are considered unexcused.
A student is allowed 9 absences per semester (18 per school year) in order to meet the Compulsory Attendance Law's 90% rule. Absences over these amounts may result in loss of credit and/or grade retention.
The tardy bell rings at 7:30 a.m. Students will be counted tardy if they are not in their seats by 7:30 a.m. A student is allowed 3 unexcused tardies per semester. Each subsequent tardy in a semester will result in the student serving lunch detention and a warning letter mailed to the parent(s). Excessive tardies may result in court fines.
