Dr. Mari Beth Hadas (Coach Hadas)
My family moved to the Schertz-Cibolo area in 1992 from Randolph A.F.B . I attended Dobie, Corbett, and Samuel Clemens High School. I graduated from Samuel Clemens in 2000. After completing high school, I continued my education at San Antonio College and then Texas State University-San Marcos. I graduated from TXSTU in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Sociology. In 2007, I began teaching 4th grade at Indian Creek Elementary in the Southwest Independent School District. Then in 2008, I was given the opportunity to come home to SCUCISD and teach at Steele. In December of 2010, I graduated with my Master's degree at Texas A&M-San Antonio in Educational Leadership/Administration. Most recently, I completed my Doctorate of Education in December of 2019 from Concordia University-Portland.

Our district has so many great things planned for our community, students, and teachers! I think each person will be very impressed with the new innovative teaching and the direction we are moving! Since education is team-driven, I hope each of you will always feel free to contact me or meet with me about concerns or issues that may arise throughout the year!Ascender Parent Portal (Formerly TxGradebook)
I want each student and parent to know that my door is always open and I welcome feedback so that we can all work as a team for the success of each student in and out of the classroom! You will find my schedule below. My class is a tool to help students with many different aspects of growing and maturing in junior high school and beyond!
Please take a moment to look at my rules, computer ethics, and district grading policy which can be found attached at the bottom of this page.As the year progresses, I try not to burden the parents by requesting additional supplies, since there are so many projects and other classes. The following is a supply list that I believe will help us through the year.EVERY STUDENT:- Composition Book
