In-person tutoring on school days - Monday & Thursday 4:00 to 4:30
Zoom will be from 9:30 to 9:50 and 2:35 to 3:15. Unfortunately these session can not extend beyond the ending time, so plan accordingly.

For Remote and In-Person Students
a. Download the zoom app on your phone.
b. Zoom also works on the computer and other internet devices.
c. When we have a zoom meeting I will post the date, time, and my meeting code on Schoology near the top of the Weekly Checklist.
a. To get to Schoology:
ѻ Go to the SCUC district website.
ѻ Click on the student link at the top.
ѻ Click on “ClassLink/myStudentPortal”
ѻ Click on “Schoology”
b. Click on Financial Math.
c. Click on the correct 9 week period.
d. Click on the correct week.
d. Click on “What’s Happening This week. This will take you to the weekly checklist.
3. Weekly Checklists
a. The zoom meeting times and password are listed here.
b. If you have an accommodation or modification please click on the link.
c. The “Week at a Glance” chart will give you a quick idea of what is due each day. In order to see the details for each day - slide down to that day’s chart.
d. Each day’s chart has a "To Do" list for that date as well as the links to do them.
4. Ms. Brown’s Teacher Website
a. To get to the website go to Steele High School’s webpage and follow the link to teacher websites.
b. Click on “Lesson Presentations” to see each lesson's power point.
c. Click on “Handouts” if needed. If you have a printer you can print it out, but you do not have to print it.
Note for Remote learners: If you want a paper copy please email Ms. Brown at firstname.lastname@example.org and put your full name and period in the subject line and let me know what you need. I will leave printed copies for you in the front office.
Note for In-Person learners: If you are in the classroom extra copies are available in the "absent student" files beside the teacher's desk.
5. Calculators: The preferred online calculator is Math-way. It can be accessed from the Math-way website or its app.
6. Every Day:
A. Do the "Daily Attendance Question" in Schoology. It will be in the folder under the “What’s Happening This Week” page.
B. Look at the “What’s Happening This Week” page in Schoology in order to know what to work on each day.
7. Instructions for submitting a grade you are happy with:
After you submit an assignment a screen appears with two options:
Step 1: Select Review Accuracy. This will show you which questions you got wrong. Write down the problem number(s) that you missed.
Step 2: Click on the assignment again in google Classroom. This time select "Edit Responses". Work on the problems you missed and then resubmit.
Step 3: Repeat the first two steps until you have a grade you are happy with.
