Hello! My name is Ms. Knox and I am so excited to be a Schlather Husky! This is my second year teaching 5th grade ELA. I have previously taught 3rd grade. I look forward to a fun and successful school year. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.

This year looks a lot different than previous school years! I know that we have a lot of questions regarding the guidelines and systems that the school and district have in place. Please utilize the Parent Guide, which is linked below. As your child's ELA teacher, I will do everything I can to help you and your child be successful during remote learning. Please feel comfortable reaching out to me with any questions or comments. 

In order to help your child be successful, I will be uploading pre-recorded lessons on Google Classroom for your child to help with their assignments. I will also be available for Zoom meetings during my office hours (listed below). During office hours, I will be on the Zoom meeting the whole time, ready to help anyone who enters the meeting. Though they are not required, I recommend that your child attends these meetings so that they stay up to date with expectations and with what we are learning. The links to the meetings will be posted in your child's Google Classroom.

Please reach out to me if your child is not available during my office hours. I can schedule individual Zoom meetings as needed.
