Summer Learning team building

Summer Learning Camp preparations continued as campuses held cookouts for their respective staffs as team building and camaraderie exercises leading up to the June 7th launch at four district schools. Grilled hamburgers, hot dogs and sausage were on the menu at Cibolo Valley Elementary School, Schertz Elementary School, Wilder Intermediate School and Dobie Junior High School. General Education Summer Learning opportunities in grades K-6 will run through July 1.

Other offerings include grades 8-12 End of Course (EOC) prep, grades 9-12 credit recovery, English as a Second Language (ESL) & Bilingual and K-12 Special Education Extended School Year.

Teachers based at Dobie JHS decorated their doors to welcome students upon arrival, and volunteers at Wilder Intermediate filled cafeteria tables with school supplies to greet teachers when they arrive on June 7th.
