Steele HS junior wins Go Public Tote Bag Contest

Jocelyn Villegas of Byron P. Steele High School captured the recent Go Public Student Tote Bag Design Contest. Villegas, a junior won a $250 scholarship, a tote bag with her artwork on it, and a $25 gift card to Michael’s for her artwork, titled “Donkey Flowers”.

Meanwhile, Avery Thames, a senior at Steele, received honorable mention for her project, “Bittie”, and was awarded a $100 scholarship, a tote with her artwork, and a $25 gift card from Michael’s.
