SCUC celebrates Maintenance Worker Appreciation Day

SCUC would like to celebrate Maintenance Workers’ Appreciation Day on March 4, 2023. We honor them for their dedication and commitment and the key role they play in the smooth functioning of district operations.

When you think of safe, clean and operational, school maintenance employees should come to mind. These dedicated employees at SCUC are responsible for maintaining the buildings, grounds and equipment in our schools and district offices, helping create a conducive atmosphere for learning. 

Maintenance Department employees play a key role in maintaining and repairing the school district infrastructure, they ensure schools are clean and safe, are responsible for setting up big district events and manage inventories and supplies to make sure everything is in order.

SCUC Maintenance & Facilities is under the direction of JD Mosley, Executive Director; and Jason Pounds, Assistant Director.
