Steele HS AFJROTC qualfies for Air Marksman Regionals

The Byron P. Steele High School AFJROTC Air Marksmanship squad has qualified for the 2019 JROTC Service Regional Championships, to be held on February 15-17 in Anniston, Alabama. The Air Marksmanship program, under the watchful eye of Lt. Colonel Michael Hinsch, USAF (retired), is only in its second year.

Cadets comprising the squad are: Kyle Funke, senior; Camille Rosado-Alejandro, junior; Anthony Hecht, freshman; Ashton Estrada, freshman; and Sydney Edmondson, junior, who serves as the alternate. Top and team JRTOC awards will be presented and the top unit teams and at-large individuals will qualify for the National JROTC meet on March 21-23 in Anniston.
