SCUC ISD senior leaders lead sessions at TASBO Conference
Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD Team One members led a presentation at the Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO) Annual Conference at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio on March 7.
Francisco Perez, Director of Transportation & Demographic Services; and JD Mosely, Executive Director of Maintenance & Facilities; spoke on the topic of, “Engaging Your Customers Through Speed Rounding,” a method used at SCUC ISD to help senior leaders stay in touch with district and campus employees to find consensus on what is working well and where opportunities for improvement can be found.
Speed rounding is occasionally used at Team One meetings, as principals and department leaders seek feedback from peers to better serve the SCUC Mission, Vision, Values and Motto.
