Trustees approve compensation package for 2021-2022
SCUC ISD employees will receive a pay raise as part of the Compensation Package approved by Board Trustees during the regular meeting held on July 27th. Employees will receive a 1.3% raise for the 2021-2022 school year, based on the midpoint for each pay grade/structure.
Board members also authorized recruitment and retention supplement payments, which allocates $500 in September and another $500 in January of 2022 (both minus applicable state and federal withholdings) for employees who meet eligibility parameters.
Trustees also approved a new three-year contract for Dr. Clark Ealy, Superintendent of Schools, which will run through June 30, 2024.
Dr. Ealy began his duties in February of 2020, just one month before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"We're excited to provide the three-year contract for Dr. Ealy, as we have every confidence in his leadership," said Mrs. Amy Driesbach, SCUC ISD Board President.
"Beyond the leadership he displayed during the pandemic, we're excited in the course the district is headed."
"I'd like to thank the board for their confidence in me, the senior leadership, including directors and principals, and the direction the district is headed," said Dr. Ealy.
