Applications for the 2022 Las Casas Performing Arts Scholarship Program are now open! Rules/guidelines and application can be found at the link below.

Deadline to apply is Sunday, February 6 at 11:59PM, but we’ll send reminders before then. Our plan is to have the program completely in person this year.

The Jimmy Awards has allowed regional award programs to once again select our nominees through an audition process this year, so Las Casas is taking the opportunity to assess and enhance the adjudication program and grow our pool of adjudicators this school year in order to resume adjudication in 2022-2023. Students wishing to audition in the Best Lead Actor/Actress categories will audition with two (2) 32-bar cuts of songs (one up-tempo and one ballad) from The Jimmy Awards’ eligible show list. A comprehensive list of shows can be found here: https://www.jimmyawards.com/participation/qualifying-shows-and-roles/ In addition to winning scholarships, two finalists (one Lead Actress and one Lead Actor) will have the opportunity to represent the region at the Jimmy Awards, which is currently planned to be held in person in NYC in June 2022.
